We will make a design change to the PLASMALOOP Bipolar Resectoscope.
This change, which is described in more detail below, is intended to further improve the performance, safety and durability of our PLASMALOOP system.
What will be changed?
We will change the plug connection on the working element (active and passive) of our bipolar resectoscope from a coaxial plug (BiTech Round Plug) to a 2-pin plug (Bissinger Resectoscope Plug).
These item numbers are affected: 86710001, 86710002
The item numbers itself will not change.
Furthermore, we will offer a modified cable that is tailored to the design change on the working element.
This new cable will be available in selected combinations with various generator-side plugs.

Effects on items currently on the market
If there are market returns with the old design, Bissinger guarantees the possibility of repairs for one year.
All existing sheaths, electrodes and optics are fully compatible with the new working elements.
To ensure a smooth changeover, we are offering our customers the opportunity to order the old version of the PLASMALOOP working element until September 30, 2024.
However, the new design will be applied to all new orders with immediate effect unless otherwise explicitly stated
on the order.
